CPIA Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup Event

Tue, Oct 18, 2016 - Tue, Oct 18, 2016

What better way to celebrate Waste Reduction Week than to join CPIA in a community clean-up event!

On Tuesday, October 18, from 2-3 pm, the Canadian Plastics Industry Association will host a clean-up event along the shores of Etobicoke Creek in Mount Charles Park,  (near Dixie and Derry Roads) Mississauga, Ontario, as part of the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup Canada-wide initiative. We encourage all of our members to take an hour out of your week to join us in cleaning up a beautiful green space.

For those interested in participating, please click here to register.

We will meet at the baseball diamonds in Mount Charles Park in Mississauga (the park can be accessed from Cardiff Boulevard) at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 18. CPIA will provide gloves, garbage bags and refreshments for all who attend.

As part of our commitment to sustainability and the proper management of plastics at the end of their lives, CPIA is a proud supporter of the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup which empowers people across Canada to take action against shoreline litter through cleanups. We look forward to seeing you at this important event.
